About Wellspring Church Of Grand Rapids
Our Mission: Loving God, Loving people, and Serving the World
We believe the entire Bible to be verbally inspired and without error in the original writings. II Timothy 3:16-17
We believe there is one living and true God eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Genesis 1:26, II Cor. 13-14
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but he sinned and thereby all human beings are born with sinful nature, therefore separated from God. Romans 3:23
We believe in the physical resurrection of Christ, His ascension, and His present life there for us. I John 2:1,2
We believe that Jesus Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary is the only ground for forgiveness of sins. Acts 4:12, II Cor. 5:19-21
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and that all who believe on Him are eternally saved. Ephesians 2:8-9
We believe in the personal pretribulational coming of the Lord Jesus, for His Church and this to be followed later by His return to earth to setup His Kingdom (1,000 year reign) upon the earth. I Thess. 4:13-17, Rev. 20:1-8

He and his wife, Valerie, have been married 43 years, and have four children, and four grandchildren.
Pastor Selmon’s vision and desire above everything is to see individuals come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and become mature saints, developing their spiritual gifts, and knowing Jesus Christ, as life.
Wellspring Church of Grand Rapids exists as an extension of Jesus Christ’s ministry to reconcile the world to God (2 Corinthians 5:19). We exist to help people learn how to draw close to God by inviting them to receive the gift of forgiveness offered through Jesus Christ. We are committed to love people, believing this will contribute to fostering and encouraging spiritual growth.
We are committed to providing biblical resources to members of our fellowship for the understanding and maintenance of their release from the bondage of sin and the pain of their past, to encourage spiritual growth, and the sharing of their Christian faith with others, becoming free from a focus on self, while developing fruitful ministry with others using their spiritual gifts.
